Press Conference in Connecticut

In anticipation of the International Day of Zero Tolerance for Female Genital Mutilation/Cutting (FGMC), we ask you to save the date for a press conference that will be held on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at 10 am at the Capitol, to emphasize the critical need for legislation to eradicate this harmful practice in Connecticut.  This press conference will feature powerful testimonies from Connecticut survivors of FGM/C who will share their personal stories, highlighting the urgent necessity of passing a law to protect women and girls from this severe human rights violation.
